9th Anniversary Sale !

The last week of June in 2010, Mom's business partner left and so began my tenure here 9 years ago when I took over our gift shop to keep it open for Mom while she underwent chemotherapy.  
We had the place revamped over the next week (while staying open) and then officially reopened as "Hubbard Ohio Gift Shop" during the first week of July that year.  
*Later, Mom and Dad insisted that since I was doing most of the work here now that it should be "Diana's Gift Shop" on the sign.

Fundraiser for the Youngstown Bluecoats who help area homeless

Our little gift shop is donating 10% from the sale of anything blue over the next month or so to help the Youngstown Bluecoats organization in its efforts to get their bus painted and get ready for the Autumn when they'll be going out again to offer coats and other warming items to our area homeless.

We've done radio; been on local T.V. stations at least once; put ads in school & community event flyers/booklets... over the years; been featured in area newspapers and even in the Sharon Herald !
I think we've had at least one story in all local papers, but The Vindicator and The Review Newspapers. We run an ad (most weeks) in our Hubbard paper; given gift baskets and gift certificates to many events; have sidewalk sales; took part in our town's shop small day for both years so far and even hosted a few vendors/displays in front of my gift shop.
But, by far, our best ads are our existing customers who love us and brag about us - an old, but still true thing and the next best would be our Facebook page = Hubbard-Ohio-Gift-Shop

Natural Dog and Cat Treats Coming to Our Hubbard Ohio Gift Shop

So excited, we will be getting in dog and cat treats made right here in Ohio from Barktastic K9 Cupboard in 2 weeks ! 
One of the owners came in yesterday to look around and thinks that their treats will be a good fit in our pet section next to our handmade cat treats with organic catnip; the pet themed greeting cards; our pet care books; and our collars and leashes... !
