My daughter is a high school Junior (now officially a senior) attending T.C.T.C. and her mini film/video earned a semi-finalist spot in the iPad Palooza Film Festival to take place in Austin, Texas during June 23-26th.
She gets no school funding so she needs to raise at least $800.00. plus more if she wants to eat, buy any souvenirs or other extras.
I have a donation can here at my Hubbard Ohio Gift Shop (Diana's) at 6177 Youngstown-Hubbard Road and we are selling Daffin's candy bars here too:

We try to take a box with us everywhere that we go to sell them.
I cannot walk well so my friend Carolyn (from the shop next door called 2 Much Stuff) is taking Elaina door-to-door all over Hubbard to sell the candy bars.
If you know anyone who has a sweet tooth and/or would like to help her out, please send them in to my shop, The Encore Shop or The Whistle Stop flea market for a candy bar or 10  ;)
Some folks have bought a whole box of 36 at $45 to resell at their workplace or for a family party to help her.
A few folks just gave her a donation.
Thank you to all of you !
She has worked SO hard this year and got straight "A"s !
She is the Safety Captain for the new Robotics team at Hubbard High School. She is also active in bowling; writing; drama club; and has an amazing singing voice.
The last few years have been tough with my Mom fighting and then losing to cancer and this is why Elaina loves to model at the Encore Shop's fashion shows as they are fun for a good cause.
Elaina has had such a rough few years trying to cope with all of this and still trying to work toward her own future.
Her mini film/video entry is about how we are all basically the same and need to be kind to each other and uses paper bats to illustrate her point.
